- 80 miles north of Chattanooga on Highway 111

Directions to downtown Sparta: from I-40 exit 288, travel south on Highway 111 about 14 miles to the Hwy 70 / Bockman Way exit, turn left [east] about one mile. Chamber office is on the left, Courthouse is on the right. Free parking around the square.

At least 75 percent of the United States is located less than a one-day drive from Sparta. Looking at a map, you will notice White County appears to be split into four quarters, north - south by US Hwy 70; and east - west by US Hwy 111, providing great roadways with easy access to neighboring cities and counties as well as to major US Interstates. White County is only five miles south of I-40 at Cookeville, 70 miles north of I-75 at Chattanooga and about 40 miles northeast of I-24 at Manchester.
